2011-12 Rec Center Memberships

Facility memberships are available for all faculty and staff (and their spouses and domestic partners) for purchase to use the facilities and programs in the Recreation Center. There are several different membership options available:

• If you are a benefits-eligible employee and you have your health insurance through the College with Harvard Pilgrim, you can utilize the Wellness Connection program. This covers the cost of your membership as long as you work out a minimum of 8 times per month.
• If you do not have health insurance benefits through the College, then the cost of the Recreation Center membership is $480 from now until the end of August 2012. This entitles you to use all the facilities and programs we offer. We also offer faculty and staff the option of purchasing this membership by the semester ($200) or academic year ($400).
• The Walking Track/Aerobics membership for $125 per semester allows access to the walking track and group fitness program
• The Spaulding Gym membership allows use of the swimming pool during Rec Sports swim time and the racquetball court at no charge.

Faculty and staff can sign up for a membership at the front desk of the Recreation Center.

All 2010-11 memberships end August 31, so faculty and staff should renew their membership for 2011-12 as soon as possible to have the full year access to the facility. Child passes for children 17 and under must all be renewed each year and can be done at the front desk of the Recreation Center as well. There is no charge for a child pass, which entitles the child to be brought with their parent to the pool during Recreational Sports swim time or the recreation gym depending on the employee’s membership restrictions.
