Rec Center Maintenance Updates

Just a reminder that the annual Steam Plant Shutdown is scheduled for August 5-19, which means the gym will have no heat or hot water in the facility beginning at noon tomorrow, 8/5. The Recreation Center and pool will be open as scheduled for use but please plan accordingly if you do not like to shower with cold water. The steam is scheduled to be turned on first thing in the morning on Friday, August 19.

Also, the wood floors will be refinished August 8-19, so there will be strong odors from that work in the facility as well. The aerobics studio, rec courts, racquetball court, and both multipurpose rooms will be closed for use as will the main gym. Spin classes will be held as scheduled in room 121, but muscle blast will not held during this period. Yoga will be held outdoors (weather permitting) or in classroom 132.
