From Peggy Walsh, Sociology:

KSC’s Sociology and Anthropology Department is one of two regional programs selected by the Eastern Sociological Society (ESS) to host this year’s distinguished Robin L. Williams, Jr. Lecturer. Dr. Mark Jacobs, of George Mason University, will visit campus October 2-3, 2011 to deliver a lecture entitled, “Impression Management or Bad Faith? The Full Dimensions of Moral Evasion in the Financial Crisis.” This event will be free and open to the public.

Dr. Jacobs will also meet with students, faculty, and members of Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Honor Society for Sociology. Prof. Margaret Walsh, who submitted the application, would like to thank the ESS for generously awarding funding for this event. More information can be found at the ESS’s Williams Lecture site.
