The Gilbys Go to…

The Theatre and Dance Honor society, Alpha Psi Omega, held their first annual end-of-year awards ceremony last week. Affectionately entitled “The Gilby” Awards after a beloved character in this year’s production of “Turning the Tide,” awards were given in various Theatre and Dance categories, some serious, some comic. Of particular note, though, were the “Most Valuable Teacher” award which was presented to Adjunct PeggyRae Johnson and the “Most Valuable Student” award which was presented to graduating senior Alex Trombly. The awards will become an annual event.
