Graphic Design Portfolio Review April 15

Keene State College seniors majoring in graphic design will open their portfolios and showcase their best design work on Friday, April 15, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Media Arts Center.

Graphic design students are required to take a portfolio seminar in which they prepare a professional presentation of their work. During this class, taught by graphic design faculty members Rebecca Davis-Kelly and Melissa DiPalma, students complete a wide variety of design-related projects including print, web, and multimedia, featuring identity design, poster design, websites, animation projects, and editorial design.

Admission is free and refreshments will be served. For further information, call the Media Arts Center at 358-2770.

In conjunction with the portfolio review, the Art Department will sponsor an opening reception for “Emerging Art,” the Annual KSC Art Students Exhibition, on the same day, Friday, April 15, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Thorne-Sagendorph Art Gallery. This reception will be hosted by Friends of the Thorne and is free and open to the public.
