On Thursday, February 24, Brian Green, Sociology, presented a research paper at the annual meeting of the Eastern Sociological Society in Philadelphia. The paper, entitled Does Diversity Matter? Assessing the Effects of Diversity on Macro-social Outcomes, addressed the sociological implications of diversity at the national level. Although she couldn’t attend the conference, the paper was co-authored by Katrina Weiss, ’10, who helped gather and analyze the data. The study was supported with funding from the Undergraduate Research Fund of Keene State College.
