Student-Written Performance Series Comes to the Night Owl

From AJ Fox, Redfern Arts Center:

The Keene State College Theatre Department presents The Premiere Series Staged Readings, a series of plays written and performed by KSC students. The first show, Memories are What? will be performed on February 11 and 12; the second, Haze will be performed on February 18 and 19; the third, Toasting the Tortoise, will be performed on February 25 and 26; and the last, Succession, will be performed on March 3 and 4. Each performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Night Owl Café, located in the KSC Student Center. Admission is free; donations are encouraged at the door.

The Premiere Series plays originated last spring in a playwriting class taught by KSC Theatre Professor Daniel L. Patterson, who also directs the shows. The four student-written works offer an insightful perspective on a variety of themes and settings, from an epic family tragedy to an intimate sexual mystery, from screwball comedy to techno-satire.
