Beverly J. Ferrucci (Mathematics) recently presented “Prospective Mathematics Teachers’ Technology-Based Knowledge of Teaching Proportional Reasoning” at the Asian International Conference in Mathematics in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Findings from her latest research regarding preservice teachers’ knowledge and implementation of various modes of technology for teaching proportional reasoning were discussed.

Irene Herold, Dean of Mason Library, published an article “Digital Archival Image Collections: Who Are the Users?” in the Winter 2010 issue of Behavioral & Social Sciences Librarian.

PeggyRae Johnson, Theatre and Dance, presented a four-day workshop at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Conference this past week. The workshop trains theatre faculty to become Production Respondents throughout Region 1 New England-Eastern New York colleges. She also facilitated 42 Preliminary Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Auditions at the Conference, which was held at Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts.
