Register for Professional Development/Founders Day

I applaud the work of the PAT and Operating Staff Councils in organizing this year’s Professional Development and Founder’s Day events for Thursday, May 14, and Friday, May 15. For the first time, both PAT and Operating Staff will have the opportunity to participate together in the events of these days.
This professional development opportunity has been made possible through the collaboration of the Department of Human Resources and the Professional, Administrative, and Technical (PAT) and Operating Staff (OS) councils. A wide range of sessions will be facilitated by Keene State College faculty, staff, Keene community agencies, and our Chancellor-Elect, Ed MacKay.
I ask that supervisors allow their staff members to participate in these professional development activities. I recognize that the functions of some offices are at their peak periods, requiring that work be done during these days. For these offices, I ask that supervisors allow workers to stagger their attendance as the work permits to enable their participation. Should staff decide not to participate, they will be expected to continue with their assigned responsibilities in their respective offices.
