Ken Goebel (Development) and Kim Accorsi (Online Communications) have just completed their first month as directors in Keene State’s Advancement Division.

The director of Development is responsible for forming, directing, and implementing a comprehensive development program to advance the College’s mission and programs through on-going communication, strategic planning, programming, and fundraising.

Ken comes to Keene State from the University of Connecticut Foundation. After 21 years as a director in YMCA work, he began his higher-ed career at Utica College of Syracuse University and then directed the annual giving programs at Colgate University and the University of Pennsylvania. In 2003, he accepted the position of assistant vice president for annual giving at the University of Connecticut Foundation and finished his work at UConn as the Executive Director of Principal Gifts.

“We are so pleased that Ken and Kim have joined our Advancement team,” said Maryann Lindberg, vice president for Advancement. “The expertise they bring, along with their enthusiasm, will be of tremendous benefit as we seek to engage more of the College’s various constituent groups in the life of Keene State College.”
