Jasinski Hits 200: Many Publications in a 31-year Academic Career
Professor Jerry Jasinski (Chemistry) reports that he has just reached a major academic career milestone by publishing 200 papers in refereed, peer-reviewed scientific research journals related to his research involving the x-ray crystallography of biologically and pharmaceutically significant molecules that exhibit insecticidal, antimicrobial, antichorniciral, antopicorniviral and bacteriostatic properties. In addition, many of these molecules are used in therapy of metastatic breast cancer, gastric, colorectal bladder cancer and other solid malignancies as well as in the treatment of enlarged prostrate glands, depression, peptic ulcers, and severe chronic pain to mention a few additional areas of application.
Since the beginning of 2009 he has co-authored the following 12 peer-reviewed scientific research papers – a total of 200 publications in his academic career:
