New IRS Tax Withholding Changes Implemented

From Jim Tuttle, Business Office: New wage-withholding tables have been installed into Banner production in accordance with IRS guidelines based on changes to the tax law made in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 as part of the stimulus legislation. These changes will effect wage payments made to USNH employees in 2009, and started with checks dated March 20, 2009.

Please note that because of changes in the new tax withholding tables, you may need to change your current Form W-4 status. It is recommended that you seek the advice of your tax advisor in order to comply with IRS tax withholding requirements.
