• Friday, May 8, Spring Honors Convocation (academic regalia required)
The Convocation recognizes excellence in student scholarship and leadership, the recipients of undergraduate Academic Honors, the Leo F. Redfern Outstanding Citizen, and discipline and endowment awards in American studies, biology, chemistry, communication, economics, education, English, environmental studies, geology, health sciences, history, holocaust, management, mathematics, modern languages, performing arts, psychology, safety studies, sociology, and women’s studies (4 p.m., Redfern Arts Center on Brickyard Pond, Main Theatre)
• Saturday, May 9, Commencement (academic regalia required)
Faculty and staff will assemble in Rhodes Hall no later than 12:30 p.m. for check in and placement in line; the procession will start around 12:40. The ceremony lasts approximately 2 1/2 hours; there will be a reception immediately following the ceremony in the Zorn Dining Commons (1 p.m., Fiske Quad).
