2008 Annual Thanksgiving Basket Drive

From the Thanksgiving Basket Committee: It’s time for the Annual Thanksgiving Basket Drive, and once again we’re asking you to help us by encouraging people in your group, office/area/building, organization, or residence hall to put together Thanksgiving baskets for this holiday season.

All KSC contributions will be distributed to WIC families (families with young children under five years of age) in Keene and the local communities. Last year we collected a record 156 baskets. This year, our goal is to maintain that number, and we cannot do it without your help.
There are so many families in need: as of October 8, local organizations had received over 2,000 requests for Thanksgiving baskets, and that number is expected to increase. In past years, students have challenged other residence halls (or floors), sororities, fraternities, and organizations for food donations.

Thanksgiving Baskets will be collected on Monday, November 24, in the West Dining Area of the Young Student center, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Human Resources at 8-2406.
