Eighth KSC Alum Wins NH Teachers of Mathematics Award

Andrea Drake ‘05 received the Fernand J. Prevost Mathematics Teaching Award from the New Hampshire Teachers of Mathematics (NHTM).

The award is given annually to a beginning New Hampshire mathematics teacher with no more than three years’ experience but who has demonstrated an excellent commitment and ability to teach mathematics.

Andrea, who teaches at Bedford High School, becomes the eighth KSC mathematics graduate to receive the award since its inception 14 years ago. Beverly Ferrucci (Mathematics) has mentored all eight KSC recipients.
