KSC Appoints Pre-Law Advisor
Mark Loevy-Reyes has been appointed as the College’s pre-law advisor, supporting KSC’s pre-law initiative. Loevy-Reyes has worked in civil rights, criminal, and disability law in Chicago and Brattleboro, taught graduate courses in law at Antioch University New England, and served as pre-law advisor in a pilot initiative at the College last semester. He comes to us with a JD from Cornell and a BS from Northern Illinois University.
“I will be responsible for consulting with students at all levels about academic preparation for law school as well as law school admissions,” Loevy-Reyes explained. “I’ll also coordinate visits by law school admissions counselors, consult with career-counseling staff to find good ways to introduce legal careers to students, and bring legal experts to the Keene State to educate the community about contemporary legal issues. I’ll work with students of any major (including undeclared). My office is in the Academic and Career Counseling Center.”
