Keene State Holds Parent-Family Weekend Oct. 17-19

KEENE, N.H. 10/8/03 - Keene State College will host its annual festivities for students’ parents and other family members Friday-Sunday, Oct. 17-19. Highlights of Parent-Family Weekend 2003 include the annual Fall Honors Convocation, a performance by the KSC Concert Band, and various athletic and cultural events.

Friday, October 17 8 p.m. Mockba. A student theatrical production Wright Theatre, Redfern Arts Center Tickets $5/$7. Call the box office at 358-2168.

Saturday, October 18 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Parents Breakfast at the Dining Commons. Reservations are required.

1 p.m. Women’s Soccer vs. Eastern Connecticut State University Owl Athletic Complex, Krif Road, off Winchester Street. Tickets available at the gate.

2 p.m. Mockba

Sunday, October 19 12:20 p.m. KSC Concert Band performs in Spaulding Gymnasium.

1 p.m. Fall Honors Convocation, Spaulding Gym. Honored are dean’s list students, the 2003 distinguished teacher, parent of the year, the 2003 community service award recipient, and Granite State Award recipients. Free.
