Beverly J. Ferrucci receives the Evans Award from the New Hampshire Teachers of Mathematics

Professor Beverly J. Ferrucci, Mathematics, has been awarded the Richard C. Evans Distinguished Mathematics Educator Award by the New Hampshire Teachers of Mathematics.

The intent of the award is to highlight creativity and innovation in the teaching of mathematics to all students. The recipient of this award is recognized as representing Dr. Evans’ philosophy, passion, and knowledge of mathematics education.

Dr. Ferrucci was recognized not only for her unsurpassed passion for mathematics education and for the improvement of mathematics teaching for all in the State of New Hampshire, but also for her significant contributions and advancements in the field of mathematics education on an international level. She has been invited to conduct research in more than 70 countries and has published more than 80 research articles. In addition to being a frequent speaker at national and international conferences, she is the first female editor of the New England Mathematics Journal.
