Simeone is Stage Manager for 'Art'
KEENE, N.H., 10/11/2010 - Ashley Simeone, of North Conway, N.H., is the stage manager for Keene State College’s upcoming production of ‘Art’ on October 19-23 at the Redfern Arts Center on Brickyard Pond. ‘Art’ is a comedy by French playwright Yasmina Reza about three friends’ differing interpretations of modern art.
Simeone is a junior theatre major who graduated from White Mountain Regional High School in 2008. She has previously served as the wardrobe mistress for KSC shows A Lie of the Mind and An Evening of Dance 2010, and she acted in last year’s production of Eleemosynary. She also serves as the costume designer for KSC’s upcoming production of This is Our Youth.
‘Art’ will be performed at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday, October 19 to 23, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, October 23, in the Wright Theatre of the Redfern Arts Center on Brickyard Pond. Tickets are $10 for the general public, $8 for senior citizens and youth age 17 or younger, and $6 for KSC students. Call the box office at 603-358-2168.
