Professor Jasinski Honored by Cambridge Who's Who

Dr. Jerry Jasinski, professor of chemistry at Keene State and president of the American Institute of Chemists, has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who for his dedication, leadership, and excellence in chemistry and research management.

At Keene State, Dr. Jasinksi analyzes crystal and pharmaceutically active compounds. He is known for his mentoring and research work with undergraduate students in chemistry, who are often able to publish their research in peer- reviewed journals with Dr. Jaskinki’s guidance.

He is the co-author of more than 240 peer-reviewed publications and serves as the co-editor of the International Union of Crystallography’s Acta Crystallographica Section E.

Dr. Jasinski earned a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Wyoming and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Copenhagen. He has taught at Keene State since 1978.
