"Opera Comes Alive!" at the Redfern

KEENE, N.H., 4/6/10 - The Keene State College Music Department presents “Opera Comes Alive!” a performance of the KSC Opera Workshop, directed by Dr. Carroll Lehman, on Friday, April 23, 2010, at 7:30 p.m., in the Alumni Recital Hall, Redfern Arts Center on Brickyard Pond.

The performance will feature arias and ensembles from great operas in the history of music, including Beethoven’s Fidelio, Copland’s The Tender Land, Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte and The Magic Flute, and Puccini’s La Boheme. Members of the Opera Workshop are Alyson Ryder, Kimberly Harte, Joseph McConaughy, Owen Davis, and Nicole Laperriere. Professor Robert Blake is the accompanist for “Opera Comes Alive!”

Admission is $10 for the general public and $5 for KSC students, senior citizens, and youth ages 17 and under. Tickets will be available at the door, or call the box office at 603-358-2168.
