KSC Hosts 10th Annual Academic Excellence Conference

KEENE, N.H., 3/24/10 - Join Keene State College students and their faculty sponsors to learn about some of the most ambitious academic work of the 2009-10 year at the College’s 10th Annual Academic Excellence Conference on Saturday, March 27, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Young Student Center and David. F. Putnam Science Center. This event is free and open to the public.

In past years, more than 350 students, family members, faculty, staff, community members, area legislators, and university system trustees have attended. Those attending may pick up programs and join students, faculty, and staff for a continental breakfast in the atrium of the Student Center beginning at 8:15 a.m.

This student professional conference is designed to showcase the academic work of Keene State students and the collaborative work between students and faculty. It allows students to share excellent work with a broad audience, and prepares them for submitting proposals to professional conferences. Recipients of undergraduate research grants are required to present at the conference.
