KSC Program Featured in National Film

KEENE, N.H., 2/29/08 - The Association of American Colleges and Universities TV (AAC&U; TV) unveiled a recently produced film, Keene State College’s Integrative Studies Program: Transforming Learning, as part of the AAC&U; “Intentional Learning, Unscripted Challenges” program at their annual meeting in Washington, D.C., last month. Keene State was one of only 11 schools selected from across the country to participate in this inaugural project.

Designed to speak to an audience of faculty and administrative colleagues, this film documents the College’s planning of the Integrative Studies Program (ISP). The curriculum for the program is grounded in the conceptual framework detailed in the AAC&U; Greater Expectations report, which calls for purposeful, intentional, and transparent teaching and learning.

USNH Chancellor Reno provided funds to support the production of the film, which may be viewed at www.aacu.org/aacutv/index.cfm.
