Campus Mourns Loss of Student

Keene N.H., 2/11/2008 - The College has learned that Matthew Atwood, a junior safety studies major, has died from injuries sustained in a fall near Melbourne, Australia. Matthew was studying abroad at La Trobe University.

“I am very saddened at the loss of Matthew,” said President Helen Giles-Gee. “We grieve with his parents, his family, and his friends.” A campus memorial for Matthew will be scheduled; details will be forthcoming.
