KSC Saddened by Virginia Tech Shootings

The Keene State campus is deeply saddened by the deaths at Virginia Tech on Monday, April 16, and we send our sympathy and solidarity to that campus. We remind our students that counselors are available at the Counseling Center in Elliot Hall, 358-2437. All institutions and public places are vulnerable. In the event of a similar campus emergency:

• Assess the situation. Do not put yourself in more danger.
• Seek safe shelter; stay inside until you are told to leave.
• If outside, stay as low to the ground as possible and find any kind of cover.
• Do not attempt to apprehend or detain the attacker.
• Call 911 and give the operator as much detail as possible.
