Presidential Candidate Duncan Hunter to Visit Keene State

KEENE, N.H., 3/21/2007 - Congressman and presidential candidate Duncan Hunter (R.-Cal.) will address area residents and members of the Keene State College community on Monday, March 26, at 9 a.m. in the Lantern Room in the Student Center at Keene State College.

This event is part of the Presidential Candidate Forums sponsored by the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce (GKCC) and Keene State College (KSC). The series spotlights individual candidates running for President of the United States in the 2008 New Hampshire primary.

The first portion of the one-hour forum will be devoted to a moderated question and answer period, where the candidate will be asked his or her view on specific topics associated with business and education. The second section will be open to questions from the audience.

Admission to the forum is free, although tickets will be required. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. Tickets for KSC students, faculty, and staff are available at the Student Center; call 603-358-2850. Tickets for members of the GKCC are available through the GKCC office at 603-352-1303. Additional tickets for nonmembers of the Chamber may become available and information can also be obtained from the Chamber office. The forum will air on Cheshire TV.

The GKCC and KSC represent the business and higher education communities, respectively, of the greater Keene area. The Presidential Candidate Forums were created by the GKCC and KSC to directly address the public service goals and mission of both organizations.
