Nominations Sought for Outstanding Women of New Hampshire
KEENE, N.H., 1/25/07 - Each March, as part of the campus celebration of Women’s History Month, the College recognizes women who contribute to the support and advancement of women on the campus, in the community, or at the state level. The awards will be presented during Women’s History Month on March 29, 2007.
Nominations are considered in each of the following categories:

Outstanding service or achievement by a female KSC student.

Outstanding service or achievement by a female member of the KSC faculty or staff (excluding current commission members).
-
Outstanding service or achievement by a woman from the Monadnock Region.
-
Outstanding service or achievement by a woman from the state of New Hampshire.
We are seeking to honor women whose efforts have made a difference in the communities. Nominee’s contributions might include, but are not limited to, the following:
Volunteer/community work
Leadership
Support for the goals and interests of women
Role model or mentor for others
Organizer of campus or community events
Voicing women’s concerns on campus or in the community
Working to expand the vision of equality for women
