KSC-TV News Season Resumes October 6

Keene, N.H. 10/6/2005 - Keene State College Television News will begin the fall season on October 6, 2005, with stories from the college and the city of Keene. The program runs on the local cable access channel 8 on the Time Warner cable system for the city of Keene at 5 and 11 p.m. and on closed circuit on the Keene State College channel 68 at 5, 6 and 7 p.m. The show runs each Thursday beginning Oct. 6 for the fall season.

Among items for the first broadcast are stories on Mongolian art in the city of Keene, Ron Butcher’s 500th career victory as KSC men’s soccer coach, and, related to the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, how Keene State plans to deal with natural disasters and other crises. Opening day planning for the new Zorn Dining Commons (due to open Oct. 31st) will also be covered.

Keene State College Television News is the only local television news for the city of Keene and has been on cable since 1989.
