Stories About Political Candidates Set KSC Television News in Motion

KEENE, N.H. 10/3/03 - Keene State College Television News began its fall season on October 2, with stories from the College and the city of Keene. The program, which is run by journalism students, airs on local cable access channel 8 on the Time Warner cable system for Keene at 5 and 11 p.m., and on closed circuit on Keene State channel 68 at 5, 6 and 7 p.m. The program airs every Thursday during the fall season.

The program for the first two weeks includes stories on political candidates senators John Kerry and Joseph Lieberman. In addition, the price of gasoline, the Monadnock Marketplace, and the Catholic Church will be covered. Keene State stories also will round out the offerings on topics such as computer viruses, Homecoming, parking, and the construction and renovation of the Science Center.

KSC Television News, the only local television news for the city of Keene, has been on cable since 1989.
