Bedford, N.H. 2/10/03 Keene State College’s Mary Proulx added another honor to her outstanding running career when she was one of three recipients of the Robert R. “Red” Rolfe Athlete of the Year award, presented at the Union Leader’s annual New Hampshire Parade of Champions banquet.

Proulx of Ashland, a winner of two NCAA Division III outdoor track and field events was both shocked and happy when she heard her name announced as the female Rolfe winner.

Olympic skier Bode Miller and college basketball star Matt Bonner were co- winners of the men’s award.
