Candice Wiggum Appointed Director of Counseling

KEENE, N.H. 9/15/02 Candice Wiggum has been appointed director of counseling services at Keene State. Wiggum, who previously served for 30 years as a counselor at Western Washington University, started her appointment on August 12. She replaces Judith Putzel Price, who was acting director until August.

Among Wiggums duties are coordinating counseling services for students and providing direct service to students, managing the Counseling Center staff, and being part of the team that provides after-hours counseling for students.

Wiggum earned her bachelors degree from Washington State University, her masters degree from Western Washington University, and her doctorate from Oregon State University.
