Keene State Offers Grantwriting Workshop
KEENE, N.H. 3/6/02 - People interested in learning how to write grant proposals are invited to enroll in a two-day workshop offered by the Keene State College Division of Continuing Education.
The Grantwriting course takes place on two consecutive Fridays, April 5 and 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Rhodes Hall on the KSC campus. Dr. Randy Thomas teaches the workshop designed to give participants the skills needed to write successful grant proposals. The seminar emphasizes pre-submission articulation, research of funding sources, and the basic components of a concise proposal. Participants will develop and critique a grant abstract from a provided fact pattern.
The one-credit education course can be taken for either undergraduate or graduate credit. Tuition is $206 or $225 for New Hampshire residents and $245 or $260 for out-of-state residents, for undergraduate or graduate credit, respectively.
