Safe Space Training
Safe Space Training is a 3.5-hour interactive workshop where faculty, staff, administrators, and students are given resources to become active voices for understanding and acceptance of the LGBTQ community. Sample topics include the history of LGBT-NH laws and policies, Campus Climate Survey results about LGBTQ students and employees, LGBTQ terminology, naming and pronouns for transgender people, a gender-neutral bathroom map of campus, and strategies to confront and prevent homophobia and transphobia at Keene State College.
Sign-up is required in advance by e-mailing jlandau@keene.edu or employees of the college can register for this Safe Space Training via the HR "Fac/Staff Sessions" enrollment website.
