Presented by representatives from BAE Systems: Optics is the branch of physics that deals with light and its properties and behavior. It is a vast science covering many simple and complex subjects ranging from precision lens manufacturing to worldwide communications networks, laser eye surgery, and optoelectronic circuits. This presentation will provide a general overview of optics and its applications in our world. We will also highlight BAE Systems’ EOIR (Electro-Optics & Infrared) Programs and how Optics and Photonics contribute to our industry.
