Keene State Presents: Open College - Is Politics for Young People?

Young people in America hate politics. They are alienated by what they see as a mean-spirited political system and are uninterested in political news or engaging in political discussion. This has been the conventional wisdom until recently. In this lecture, Professor Michael Welsh will compare research findings to that conventional wisdom and explore reasons for the historic under representation of young people in politics. After the lecture, Keene State students will share their experiences and take questions.
