Get in the mood for Christmas with Keene Vocal Consort on Monday, November 26th, 2018. Keene State College Music Department's Early Music ensemble will present an hour of medieval and renaissance Advent Motets in the heavenly acoustic of St. Bernard Church beginning at 7.30pm, free will donations kindly accepted. Directed by Dr. Matthew Leese, the 17-voice auditioned ensemble will sing a cappella music by abbess and mystic Hildegard von Bingen, Guillaume du Machaut, Thomas Tallis and Claudio Monteverdi.
