“It’s been really helpful”
I served 20 years in the Navy and now have a civilian job as a safety specialist. The master’s program offered me the opportunity to close some knowledge gaps and make me a better contributor to the organization, and it’s been really helpful with my current job—I received a promotion even before I graduated.

“I can study at my own pace”
When I was ready for advanced study, I knew I wanted to come back to Keene State because my experience here was terrific. I work full time, with long hours, and it’s very convenient to be able to study at my own pace – the online aspect made it feasible for me to pursue a graduate degree. I plan to finish in about two years.

“We look to Keene State when we hire”
Keene State is one of the primary institutions we look to for filling occupational safety and health openings for our department. We’re certainly interested in master’s grads – that would indicate dedication toward construction safety, as well as more experience and institutional knowledge.
