Literacy Lab tutors are rigorously trained and assigned to one high-need traditional public or charter school for a full school year. In addition to other benefits, they receive a modest stipend ($1,400/month, pre-tax) and about $6,000 to pay for future tuition or existing federal loans. Tutors implement an evidence-based model to help age 3 to grade 3 students close the literacy gap.
NOTE: You do NOT have to pre-register to attend this event. All KSC students and alumni are welcome to attend.
This event is part of the ACA Standard calendar.
