One thing all companies need to do to survive is to sell their goods or services. Successful companies such as Apple, Caterpillar and Goldman Sachs have highly skilled people who understand the company, its products or services and are able to work with potential and actual customers to identify customer need and deliver the right company product or service to meet that need. Done properly, professional sales people provide a valuable service to customers and make money for their employer – and themselves. Rodney Erb, a former leading salesman for Medtronic, teaches Professional Sales and Negotiation at Keene State and will help you understand more about careers in professional sales and how you might prepare yourself for a career in this field.
Who should come? All students, all majors and years. Professional sales careers are open to a wide range of majors.
