Dr. Sandra K. Johnson: Conversation with a real life “Hidden Figure”
Dr. Sandra K. Johnson the Founder and CEO of SKJ Visioneering, LLC, a global technology consulting firm. She is a global technology leader, author, community builder, and orator. She has over 25 years of experience in information technology and is an IEEE Fellow, ACM Distinguished Engineer and former IBM technical leader. Dr. Johnson was a member of the IBM Academy of Technology, which consists of the top 1% of IBM's over 250,000 technical employees. She has over 40 issued and pending patents and over 80 technical publications. Dr. Johnson is the Editor-in-Chief of Performance Tuning for Linux Servers and is one of the first African-American women to earn a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in the United States of America.
Dr. Johnson is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Dr. Johnson earned B.S. (summa cum laude), M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, all in electrical engineering
