Student Recital Series: Angel Monroe, Flute/Piccolo

Angel Monroe gives flute and piccolo recital Saturday, April 7th at the Redfern. Join us for this free family-friendly event! Angel will perform Baroque, French classical, and Expressionistic/romantic music, including Bach’s “The Flute Sonata in B Minor”, which is arguably the most difficult piece in the composer’s repertoire. She will also play compositions by Paul Hindemith, a German composer who wrote copious amounts of music for all instruments, which often mocked the Nazis.
