KSC Faculty Recital

Please join us for a Keene State College Faculty Artists Recital, featuring new faculty member Fred Sienkiewicz on trumpet and compositions by faculty emeritus William D. Pardus.

Additionally, pianists Maura Glennon, Scott White, and Timothy Rogers will perform solo and chamber works with their colleagues, oboist Sussan Henkel, bassoonist Joy Flemming, and soprano Diane Cushing. Clarinetist Mary Seaver and flutist David Flemming will join Professors Flemming, Henkel and Cushing for the world premier of The Haunted Chamber by William D. Pardus, written for voice, flute, oboe and bassoon.

Boston-based trumpeter and KSC adjunct faculty Fred Sienkiewicz enjoys a varied career performing classical solo, chamber, and orchestral music throughout New England. A native of Western Massachusetts, Mr. Sienkiewicz earned his Bachelor of Music in trumpet performance at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and his Master of Music in trumpet performance with a concentration in music education from the New England Conservatory of Music. In addition to his teaching positions at KSC, Plymouth State and Gordon College, Mr. Sienkiewicz also is a Research Associate at the Center for Music-in-Education, where he manages development of the Music Literacy Skills Test and provides program analysis for primary school music and music integration programs at partner institutions throughout the country.
