Bethany Keely-Jonker has been blogging for more than ten years, most famously as the owner of the ‘Blog’ of ‘Unnecessary’ Quotation Marks and author of the related Book of “Unecessary” Quotation Marks: A Celebration of Creative Punctuation (Chronicle Books, 2010.) She is also a regular columnist for the group blog Think Christian, which focuses on engaging pop culture from a Christian perspective. She will share her perspective on how blogging has changed in the last ten years, the risks and benefits of blogging as a hobby and as a source of income, and the potential of online media to influence culture.
