The Long Table: a Public Dinner Party and Forum on Presentation of Self, led by Dr. Brian Kanouse
Conceived by performance artist Lois Weaver, The Long Table is an open-ended improvisatory conversation set in a public space through which participants can select and alter their participation in a formal conversation. Taking on a dinner table atmosphere- participatory, theatrical and a unique, the event will invite college students and community members from the Keene area to engage in discussion surrounding how we come to construct and perform our social and self-identities within the public sphere.
This event is organized in conjunction with “City Council Meeting,” a free participatory theater performance on Oct. 29 presented by Keene State’s Redfern Arts Center at Keene Public Library's Heberton Hall, 60 Winter St., Keene
