An explosive play of passion and human behavior, Equus explores the connections between an adolescent boy’s dangerous obsession and the agonizing mystery behind his unbearable acts of violence toward the horses he loved. This international, award-winning play received the Tony Award for its Broadway premiere as well as the NY Drama Critics Award, and the NY Drama Desk Award. Reviews of the 2008 revival, starring Daniel Radcliffe of Harry Potter fame, solidified its reputation as a timeless classic and a cornerstone of contemporary drama.
