Cohen Conversation: The Line Between Hate Speech and Free Speech

Our final Cohen Conversation of the spring! This lunchtime conversation will focus on questions about the intersections of hate speech and free speech in democratic societies today. We will be joined by Julie Hart (Laconia Daily Sun) and James Rinker (Keene Sentinel), who will share insights from their work and examples of how local journalists navigate these questions.

This event is free and open to all. Lunch is provided.

This event is presented by the Cohen Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies in partnership with the Office of Justice, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as well as the Department of Multimedia Journalism.
