Who Belongs Where: A Safe Space Session
This semester, the Safe Space Committee is offering a series of one-hour reflective discussions to help us achieve our mission of increasing awareness through education about issues related to minoritized sexual and gender identities and embodiments.
Who Belongs Where: Participants will explore how spaces invite or exclude LGBTQ people and how individuals can affect their environment to foster greater access and a sense of belonging.
All students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend one to all of these sessions to build upon whatever previous knowledge you have about LGBTQ+ identities and experiences.
Throughout the series, we will focus on 3 different concepts (self-determination & agency, pronouns & language, and who belongs where) to delve a bit deeper to understand and support LGBTQ+ people at Keene State College and beyond.
To request accommodations for a disability, please contact the coordinator at least two weeks prior to the event.
