Self-Determination & Agency: A Safe Space Session

81 Blake Street - Cultural Center
Wednesday, · -

This semester, the Safe Space Committee is offering a series of one-hour reflective discussions to help us achieve our mission of increasing awareness through education about issues related to minoritized sexual and gender identities and embodiments.

Self-Determination & Agency: Participants will self-reflect on how individuals deny/allow themselves options to be their authentic self and how to honor our personal power to act in line with our truth.

All students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend one to all of these sessions to build upon whatever previous knowledge you have about LGBTQ+ identities and experiences.

Throughout the series, we will focus on 3 different concepts (self-determination & agency, pronouns & language, and who belongs where) to delve a bit deeper to understand and support LGBTQ+ people at Keene State College and beyond.
