COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic
Why should we get vaccinated?
We strongly encourage all students, faculty and staff to be fully vaccinated as soon as possible, for their own health and safety and for that of our campus community. The medical data and public health recommendations are clear: being fully vaccinated will greatly decrease your chances of becoming infected with the COVID-19 virus or transmitting the virus to your friends, family, or others with whom you have close contact. In addition, fully vaccinated people who become infected with COVID-19 experience milder symptoms, are rarely hospitalized, and almost never die from the disease.
What are the benefits to providing vaccination information?
As we began to have more identified contacts of positive cases in and around the area, we want to remind everyone that providing proof of vaccination will prevent you from having to do a mandatory quarantine. If you are fully vaccinated and haven’t yet uploaded proof – just stop by the window at the testing center and we will upload it to our secure health portal for you!
What brands are being offered at the clinic?
Both Johnson and Johnson (one dose) and Pfizer (two doses) will be available. First doses do not require an appointment and you can arrive anytime between 11:00am-3:00pm.
Are booster shots available?
At this time, only Pfizer is approved to provide booster shots. We are pleased to announce that Pfizer boosters are available on Friday, October 15.
Who is eligible for a Pfizer booster on Friday, October 15?
You are eligible for a Pfizer booster if:
You are 18 years and older;
Already received the first and second dose of Pfizer; and
Are 6 months after your first and second doses; and
Have proof of vaccination available to bring with you to your appointment.
How do I make an appointment for a Pfizer booster?
There are limited supplies for this Friday, so the booster doses will only be available by appointment only. If you meet the above criteria, please email covidinfo@keene.edu to reserve an appointment. You will be provided with an appointment time. If you do not hear back within 24 hours, unfortunately you will need to wait for a future opportunity.
