Student Composers Recital
During their training at KSC, student composers are required to write for a variety of instruments and voice types. Each student’s compositional voice is distinct, with varied styles and intensities of dissonance and tonality, resulting in an interesting assortment of works on each student composers’ recital. Pieces are typically performed by fellow students, with occasional guest performances by members of the faculty. Student composers will be invited to talk about their music before each piece. Join us for an exciting night of new music! Regardless of your musical interest, there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
Tickets will go on sale two weeks prior to performance. KSC students will need to obtain their complimentary tickets in person at the Box Office rather than ordering online.
COVID Performance Guidelines : MASK WEARING IS MANDATORY DURING THE ENTIRE PERFORMANCE. If you cannot wear a mask, Livestream Access is available for purchase. Patrons will be physically distanced during the performance. Parties may be seated together as long as they are physically distanced from other parties/patrons. Your cooperation is appreciated.
